Kichibei Kumagai hit very poorly (.594 OPS) for a first baseman in his debut 2011 season. He improved in 2012 (.714 OPS), and again in 2013 (.897 OPS), before regressing somewhat in 2014 (.760 OPS). He was traded to Shin Seiki December 15, 2013.
Koto Sekiguchi pitched very well for Edo in 2011 (3.31 ERA, 12-6 W-L), 2012 (3.04 ERA, 13-3 W-L), and 2013 (3.10 ERA, 14-4 W-L). He did not fare as well (6.31 ERA) in the PEBA during 2014.
