Edo's 1st round 2010 draft pick (5th pick, 5th overall LF Masaharu Sugimoto)
Edo receives:
2B Hokusai Aoki (19, AAA) - minor league contract
Kuwana's 1st round 2010 draft pick (8th pick, 8th overall LF Hirotsugu Yamasaki)
Since Then:
Hanyuda improved in his first three years, hitting competently (.795 OPS) in his third (2012) season, but returned to the minors in 2013 before playing poorly (.538) in 2014.
Aoki has hit adequately in the Majors, earning a .774 OPS, though with limited time and his share of injuries. Aoki was traded to Neo-Tokyo (March 28, 2010), then to Shin Seiki (January 26, 2011) and then to Hyakujuu (July 24, 2011).
