Naha Shisa and Edo Battousai

Naha receives:
SS Kichibei Kumagai (22, AAA) - minor league contract
Edo's 2nd round 2011 draft pick (pick 10, 22nd overall: Tadahisa Sanu)

Edo receives:
SP Koto Sekiguchi (29, ML) - $0.20

Since Then:
Kichibei Kumagai hit very poorly (.594 OPS) for a first baseman in his debut 2011 season.  He improved in 2012 (.714 OPS), and again in 2013 (.897 OPS), before regressing somewhat in 2014 (.760 OPS).  He was traded to Shin Seiki December 15, 2013.

Koto Sekiguchi pitched very well for Edo in 2011 (3.31 ERA, 12-6 W-L), 2012 (3.04 ERA, 13-3 W-L), and 2013 (3.10 ERA, 14-4 W-L).  He did not fare as well (6.31 ERA) in the PEBA during 2014.  He was a 2012 and 2013 all-star.  He won the 2011 Neo-Tokyo Cup with Edo.  His contract with Edo was annulled and negotiation rights sold to the PEBA via posting January 16, 2014.

Kuwana receives:
Edo's 5th round 2011 draft pick (pick 10, 58th overall: Noburo Sasaki)

Since Then:
Saikaku Sato batted above .300 in 2012 and 2013, putting up averages between .270 and .293 in the remaining seasons between 2011 and 2014.  Stole 30 bases in 2012.  Was traded to Kuwana (November 20, 2011), then to Soul (July 6, 2014).  Won the 2011 Neo-Tokyo Cup.

MR Masato Noguchi (29, ML) - $0.20

Edo receives:
Neo-Tokyo's 4th round 2011 draft pick (pick 2, 38th overall: Sosuke Kawakami)

Since Then:
Masato Noguchi pitched poorly (5.37 ERA) in 2011, better in 2012 (4.43 ERA), and even better (3.83 ERA) in 2013, before racking up an 8.58 ERA and 1.85 ERA in 2014, though with a 7-6 W-L record.  He was claimed off waivers by Lupin (August 26, 2013) and signed a minor league deal with Fushigi Yugi (April 6, 2014).
